Dr. Srinath Gupta is an Orthopedic Oncosurgeon working at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad. He holds prestigious qualifications including MBBS, MS in Orthopedics, PDCR, and HBNI Fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology.
Dr. Gupta specializes in the management of benign bone tumors, primary malignant tumors, metastatic bone tumors, soft tissue sarcomas, limb salvage procedures, and limb reconstruction surgeries. His expertise extends to bone and soft tissue tumors involving the upper limbs, lower limbs, pelvis, and spine.
Following his post-graduation in Orthopedics, Dr. Gupta worked at the world-renowned Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai—the largest referral center for cancer care in India—for a period of 3 years, during which he completed his HBNI Fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology.
Dr. Gupta is formally trained in limb salvage surgeries involving the extremities and performs a wide range of surgeries and biological reconstructions. He has multiple publications in collaboration with national and international surgeons in various national and international journals, with a particular interest in research and refinement of existing surgical principles.
