Dr. Nuvvula Rambabu is a highly experienced and esteemed Plastic Surgeon with over 23 years of expertise in the medical field. He holds distinguished qualifications, including an M.Ch in Plastic Surgery from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (2000) and an MS in General Surgery from Kasturba Medical College (1992). Dr. Rambabu completed his MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, in 1987.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Rambabu has held various significant positions, demonstrating his exceptional skills and dedication to plastic and reconstructive surgery. From 2013 to 2021, he served as a part-time Senior Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute. During the same period, he also worked as an Additional Professor in the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at NIMS, Hyderabad.

Dr. Rambabu’s professional journey includes roles as an Associate Professor (2007-2012) and Assistant Professor (2001-2007) in the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at NIMS, Hyderabad. He gained valuable international experience through a Clinical Observership at the ST. Andreus Centre for Plastic Hand Reconstructive Microsurgery and Burns in Chelmsford, UK, from 2000 to 2001.

His early career comprised extensive residency training, including serving as a Senior Resident in M.Ch at NIMS (1997-2000), a Senior Resident at NIMS (1994-1997), and a Senior Resident in the Department of Neurosurgery (1993-1994).
