Dr. Madiraju Ramanuja Rao is a highly experienced Surgical Oncologist with over 25 years of dedicated service in the field of medicine. He holds esteemed qualifications including MBBS, MS, DNB (General Surgery), and DNB (Surgical Oncology). Dr. Rao has been contributing his extensive knowledge and expertise to various renowned medical institutions throughout his illustrious career.

Dr. Rao completed his M.S. in General Surgery from Osmania Medical College between 1980 and 1983. Following his postgraduate studies, he served as a Surgeon at St. Theresa Hospital in Hyderabad from 1983 to 1984. He then expanded his horizons internationally by working as a Consultant Surgeon at the Provincial HQ Hospital in Bushehr, Iran from 1984 to 1992.

Upon returning to India, Dr. Rao practiced as a Freelance Surgeon in Hyderabad from 1992 to 1999. His career in Surgical Oncology began in 1999 when he joined a dedicated team and contributed significantly to the field until 2010. Since 2010, Dr. Rao has been serving as a Consultant at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad, where he continues to provide exceptional care to his patients.
