Dr. Ashwini Gopal is a consultant radiation oncologist with a particular focus on head and neck, thorax, and genitourinary malignancies. She completed a Diploma in Radiotherapy Training at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in Bangalore. She joined Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in the year 2014, as a postgraduate DNB resident in the department of radiation oncology. After completing her postgraduate in 2016, she has been working at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute. She attended an ESMO preceptorship in head and neck oncology, in Hong Kong in April 2019. She is currently undergoing UK based clinical oncology training from many hospitals like Leeds, RMH, and North Middlesex hospitals of London and is aiming for FRCR Clinical Oncology. At BIACHRI, Dr. Ashwini is treating head and neck, thorax and genitourinary malignancy and related research.

She is a member of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), ESMO, and RCR.
